Stakeholders Meet to Review Proposed Memorandum of Agreement

The Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO) of Digos City participated in a coordination meeting with the Department of Science and Technology XI (DOST XI), Davao del Sur State College (DSSC), and the Hugpong ng Mananagat sa Badiang Association (HUMABAAS) to review the draft Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that will formalize their partnership.

The proposed agreement seeks to:

– Strengthen technological support and training through DSSC;Provide science-based solutions from DOST XI to boost productivity and innovation;

– Support HUMABAAS in sustainable livelihood development, particularly in fish processing; and

– Reinforce LGU Digos’ role in creating an enabling environment for inclusive local economic growth.

The review process ensures that all parties’ commitments are aligned towards fostering collaboration, empowering community-based organizations, and advancing Digos City’s vision of innovation-driven and people-centered development.
