Digos City Facilities Go Renewable Energy
Big things are happening in Digos! Mr. Sanada of Advantec Philippines visited the city once again to work with Digos City in finalizing the Memorandum of Agreement and officially move forward with a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the City Government of Digos and Advantec Philippines that will shift most of our government facilities to renewable solar energy.

This project marks a major milestone in our city. Here are some of its key benefits:
Lower Electricity Costs – With solar power, the city expects a significant drop in electricity expenses, allowing more budget to be reallocated to essential public services like healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
Energy Independence and Resilience – Relying on energy from sunlight reduces the city’s dependence on utility providers which ease pressure on the local grid, especially during peak hours since digos is one large consumers of electricity.
Clean and Sustainable – This project supports our environmental goals by reducing carbon emissions and promoting a healthier, greener Digos for future generations.
Top-Tier Japanese Technology – The solar systems will be powered by Japanese-grade technology, known worldwide for its efficiency, durability, and high performance. This ensures long-term value and low maintenance.
Local Economic Boost – With Japanese investors now in Digos, this partnership opens doors for more foreign investments, technology transfer, and potential job opportunities for our local workforce.
This is more than just a power project—it’s a leap toward becoming a smarter, greener, and more resilient City of Choice!
